Studio Work

Studio works include the bulk of my finished works. They were created in my studio in Fairbanks or in an abode in Spain. My prints and paintings are based on drawings and ideas, usually related to field work and sketches done in the small sketchbooks I carry most of the time. Gallery showings provide the incentive and opportunity to create a body of work that is inspired by themes that thread through the works. My last two solo exhibits were portraits, one series painted and the other were woodcuts. Often these are creatures, humans or hybrids. Always they are ideas of things wild or domestic.
